Like music and lyrics...

Surrounded by kids, I was seated in my chair
In a class of twenty, as a teacher I was there.
Amid the entire bustle, I heard a little girl cry
With a paper in her hand, she stood very nearby.
Her cheeks red, her eyes tearful, she looked cute though.
“Ma’am, I found this in my bag, a few minutes ago ,”
She said, still crying, and held out the note in her hand.
Must be a prank, I thought to myself, nothing too grand.
To my surprise, it was a poem, written in color red,
Tiny little red hearts everywhere, this is how it read:
Suzie dear, Jimmy here.
Jimmy first poem, do not tear.
Jimmy like Suzie, Jimmy like Suzie smile.
Jimmy like sit Suzie side, Jimmy like Suzie style.
Jimmy see Suzie walk, just love Suzie talk.
Jimmy best friend Suzie, Jimmy gift Suzie red frock.
Red = love, Jimmy hear on TV often.
Jimmy ask Suzie, please be my girlfriend.
Jimmy keep Suzie happy, never make her cry.
If Suzie marry Jimmy, Jimmy never say good bye.
Jimmy plan future, two kids, a boy and a girl.
Handsome boy name Daniel, pretty girl name Pearl.
Jimmy buy Suzie a bungalow, somewhere in Paris.
Paris city of love. Under the long tower, we kiss.
Suzie keep mom-dad too, Jimmy give Suzie joy.
Jimmy take care girl, Suzie take care boy.
Jimmy no money now, Jimmy study hard and work.
Jimmy buy Suzie diamond ring, and her favorite Cadbury Perk.
Please Suzie say yes, Suzie not say no.
If Suzie not answer, Jimmy home not go.
I read it over and over again, it really touched my heart
The loveliest of all the letters, the sweetest one so far.
Today, I stand in their marriage ceremony, recollecting the past
His words were not shallow, he was marrying her at last.
He did just as he had promised, a bungalow and a red dress,
A business firm in Paris, and he still wrote poems for his princess.
His eyes still sparkle at the very sight her,
If one says this is not love, then I beg to differ.
She is dressed in a gown, white and magnificent.
He is dressed in a suit, perfect black and decent,
He bends on his knees, and takes her hand in his.
“Accept this diamond ring and be mine forever miss!”
She jumps with pleasure, she feels a thrill
“You had promised in the letter, you remember still!”
Of course he does, those words were genuine after all.
Applauses and sighs of awe filled up the entire hall.
Processional, wedding march, exchange of rings,
As the affair continues, the wedding bell dings!
The priest declares, "the groom may now kiss the bride.”
They kiss each other softly, two souls are being allied.
I stand at the church gate as they walk away together.
She smiles and tosses the bouquet in the air behind her.
Her left hand in his right hand, too perfect a view,
Like music and lyrics, they were made for each other too!
